Leslie is certified in oriental body work (shiatsu practitioner), massage therapy and reflexology. She graduated from CenterPoint School of Shiatsu and Massage in 1998. Her sessions integrate her extensive training in CranialSacral Therapy, Healing Touchtm, ashiatsu (oriental bar therapy), hot stone massage, infant and pre-/post-natal massage. She is also trained in hara diagnosis and tongue and pulse diagnostics. She has been doing integrated body work since the early1990’s and brings a variety of modalities together for a complete therapeutic healing experience.
Leslie practiced at HCMC Alternative Medicine Clinic for 8 years as a shiatsu and a massage therapist with a varied and complicated and diverse patient population.
In addition to body work Leslie is a certified nutritional therapist CNT with a strong passion for real and traditional foods. Leslie holds the understanding that all people are biochemical individuals and that using nutritional assessments- including muscle testing, neurolingual testing, palpation, and nutritional software- the practitioner allows the client’s body to tell her what their body needs. Learning to properly prepare fresh, whole, and nutrient dense foods and meal planning are included in the consultation.
Leslie is a trained Doula and is a mother of two healthy daughters. She believes in the body’s own ability to find health and harmony of mind, body, and spirit.
